USA set to quadruple tariffs (from 25% Trump era to 100% Biden (new) era) on Chinese EVs. Also in the crosshairs are critical minerals, Solar and Batteries that are sourced from China (whether they go to 100% is not clear). BTW Trump is also going to raise tariffs on China to 60% (or more) on everything sourced from China (apparently) ...
Of course that move is highly inflationary to the consumer --- so beware of unintended consequences. Apparently Yellen (Biden's Treasury Secretary ond former Fed Gov) warned China on her visit (last month) that the world would take "steps to counteract a wave of inexpensive Chinese exports that undercut their own industries".
So, Europe to follow ...
Australia, Japan, Canada, ...???
