No, you are judging on how he or others reasoning for 'pushing' priorities - by your values
we don't need to know your values - what we need to know is others, people who are in some kind of powerful positions -
and it's very clear that most of us 'push' priorities ------- if we have any brains. But, it's certainly not because of what you call 'vested interest' in a negative sense - not at all
people with integrity, honour and honesty have 'vested interest' - and if they have any guts at all - then, they 'push' them
where exactly is the problem in standing up for what you believe in?
What I see on here on HC and have seen for years is that many, probably most of the bonehead brigade ----------- have an 'opinion' --------- which they apply one week or one year -
but, the next week or year - they have the 'opposite' opinion. Their values and priority lists change - and always due to their dislike of 'they', the 'elite' or whoever mysterious persons who are making their lives a failure
precise example is the dud Liberals and their very dull supporters who -
on the morning of May 21, 2022 ------ nuclear wasn't up for debate or necessary
poof - by the morning of May 24, 2022 --- all of a sudden, nuclear power needed to be rethought, it was probably a good idea and was necessary
AND it was all Albo's fault and those Labor people
