It depends whether ARM intend to keep all their eggs in the cloud basket or they want to cover all bases given a predicted explision in Edge growth.
My view is that they will cover all bases.
Both the cloud and cloudless AI will have a part to play.
Sensor type AI at the Edge in the main will be better suited to cloudless whereas other non sensitive data may be more suited to the cloud.
It seems a big call to write off cloudless AI at the Edge.
