The key word is "hot" operation. The thermal impact on processing and the vessel is one of the key risks for a new fluid bed operation. Material creep, unintended material phase changes, local hot spot effects and insulation stability, energy addition and control loops are all related to long term high temps.
The unit will have feed cycles during the run so an important test is the control management of introduction and removal of feed input.
