The published liabilities are made up by actuaries. The ageing of the portfolio is such that any claims self cure . Ie. Property prices have risen sufficiently to eliminate any claim payments. Of course the company says they expect claims to return to historically observed levels but they have to say that to justify their existence (and pricing on new policies written) .
