Watched the presso, seemed a little nervous compared to his usual emphatic demeanour. Still presses all the right buttons and comparisons, just the more he talks about how important extra truckable tonnes from a new discovery are, while simultaneously dragging out the PFS but pitching SS results on an 18 month old MRE makes me suspicious. "How big is it?" to quote the man from years ago... getting smaller not bigger is the problem.
Speaking of comps, NWC vs Spartan.. really? Spartan's 950k Oz Never Never is still open at depth and only part of a global Dalgaranga gold project and other satellite deposits. Oh... should mention Spartan also have a fully operational 6 year of 2.5Mt plant worth about $630M capex at today's replacement on care and maintenance while they drill out Never Never and formulate a restart plan in the gold price boom. Cum-PFS, cum-build, cum raise, cum-discovery exploration doesn;t seem a fair comp imho...
