Still believe majority of Santos' interest in the Bedout gets sold to a NWS participant that becomes operator and ramps up gas exploration with a view to feeding the KGP. Bedout is a much better option for them than heading up to the Browse, and all funded by Dorado/Pavo oil cashflows.
Would be a very attractive outcome for CPC and STO if they could get their gas toll processed at KGP.
Just need an NWS participant willing to take a punt on the gas being there. Originally thought it would be BP, but am coming round to WDS after the STO/WDS discussions.
Where does CVN fit in all of this??? At this point we are a loose end that doesn't really bring any strategic value to the JV. IMO, we will be picked off early
