surplus = government taking more of your money than they actually need. ie greed. everyone championing a surplus and record spending are economic fools. Government should be revenue neutral or as near to it as possible. They don't produce anything and they are not a business and it's not their mandate to be a profiteer. The government takes 1/3 of your income and hands it out without recourse. This lot are incompetent beyond belief and the opposition are as useless, yet the lemmings will all come out and fly the flag at the next election and it starts all over again. State and Federal labor have destroyed any chance of ever paying this debt and the LNP have no idea. We're stuffed and they will come for your super, not if, but when.
