Missed ~23 Kms of access and site prep to Perce which was completed between 18-28 April.

Lime green new access - schematic but reasonable.
    Red 2023 access to Mawson.
Yellow possible access to Wordie N, center, south. Sand dunes control where the access can go leaving local conditions and details to fine tune a route.
Time lapse of the east end.

very subtle with only the larger sites more obvious.

Detail of E end to Perce on GE.

The "camp" site is an apparent clearing which IMO doesn't make much exploration sense. Not too much for a camp either.
Suspect the proposed drill site is as shown (Magenta circle) though there is some indication at the corner to the south but perhaps too small and just a road bend.

The scale bar is roughly 500m which would be the rough length for the surface projection of a 1000m hole drilled at -60 degrees (not that it would be straight all the way so schematically). The vertical depth tested for such a 1000m hole would be >=800m.
Given the size of the Perce anomaly (white outline = my rough interp) at a 3 Km diameter squished circle such a deep hole would only just begin to give a test if there is anything interesting there.
Lynas's first 1000m hole was only done a couple of years ago.!

IMO a couple of hundred metres will let them know what they are dealing with.
Hopefully strongly hematite altered lithologies dripping with copper.
Not going to be magnetite or magnetic sulphides as there is probably not enough magnetic signature. Depth attenuated? Hopefully not.

Just the gravity signature which doesn't leave too many obvious candidates. A real puzzler with the drill telling them later this month.
A few off the top of my head. Please add some ideas.

Base Metals (Zn/Pb/Py), Pyrite, hematite, barite (left field).
High density non magnetic rocks (generally rules out ga**bbro and the usual ultramafic bodies), some non-magnetic mafic body.

    ================
Partial cloud cover at Green, Crean, Luni, clearer at Emily where I couldn't see any activity or site preparation. Another aspect of aircore is the rigs can wiggle between sparse vegetation without the need to clear wide tracks. This can make spotting activity very tricky. Knowing the areas that are going to be targeted can help but if there is limited evidence certainly not easy.

Due on site today so maybe nothing to see yet.
It will be what it will be and get announced in due course.
