You could be onto something there! It sure is in their best interests as major shareholders. Fund this to construction stage and their investment will be worth multiples of what it is right now, especially in this gold environment Imo. Also a chance of an auction type takeover scenario which would rocket this up. They are getting a decent 12pc return on the loan anyway, but their eyes are clearly on the main prize of advancing this gold project to production! 100s of billions on offer.
