immigration is the major problem here. for some who enter lifelong dependence on welfare is their aim coupled with the need to raise taxes to pay for this on top of a housing crisis (which is worldwide btw) and diminishing infrastructure.
wa had an influx of 95000 last year with many more to come this year.
many of these newcomers end up in government positions or at airport security which just multiplies the dilemma. they arent being provided or finding real jobs.
