    Tim Flannery.

HIS only qualification in climactics is his belief in his own publicity, and the realisation that thereby is a lucrative road to gaining public adulation (as is the case with Al Gore). Flannery gets very huffy in anyone takes a contrarian approach to his own.

When you consider that our planet is only a tiny comparative speck of life in the vast universe, and each of us are just grains of sand on it's beaches, of course we are at the mercy of vastly changing caused and effects over the infinity of time. Changes so vast that we have no control over them. Like the sudden wipe-out of the dinosaurs.

We were blessed with the intelligence to realise that our
lives depend on us tending this earth to our own advantage.
The majority of us want the best for our offspring and their future lives.

Changes, small and large, are inevitable. But we can face them calmly, and the human race can draw it's own conclusions, and act accordingly, in consultation with fellow humans. For one section of the population to shout that they know all, and they have all the answers, and this is what's going to happen according to them, and preach doom and gloom which may never happen, shoving their views down all our throats, is the height of arrogance, and ignorance.

The Left Wing/Greens have this small minded fixation, the hugely annoying habit of thinking they are all knowing - all encompassing, and then requiring the rest of us to jump to their tune, or else they claim we are ignoramuses. And their adherents make this belief into an industry, with many making millions out of what is actually a business of beliefs.

Scientists, now matter HOW eminent, can be wrong. There are even queries now about certain aspects of Einstein's Theory of Relativity, to do with time, and time warps. Even Einstein queried himself and his results. And so it should be. Questions should be allowed to be asked. No one is totally right, or infallible.
