The only problem I have with the David Hicks question was that is was ambush journalism. I found it a bit disrespectful that they gave David Hicks a chance to question John Howard on the spot like that. IMO it was only done to get a reaction from JH and to see if he would trip up or look bad. He handled that question very well and every other question tonight.
I hope that Q and A can have audience members that will scrutinise pollies from both sides in the future, but I'm not holding my breath.
