Never mind a private company, no matter who the buyer is, personal individual, private or public company = we will all be paying CGT on the sale of our holdings.
Personally I’ll be delighted to pay discounted CGT as long as any offer is at the top end of Elite’s suggestion - shares held for longer than 12 months.
