Heya mate
on point 6: Has PLS put a noose on it's own neck contracting most of it's supply to China? Would they have been better off being uncontracted (like MIN).
China is more concerned with cornering the global market in particular the developing economies. To do this it must have cheap materials so it can produce cheap products. In terms of the market they are targeting, the size of US and Australia don't compare. China has always been about selling in mass with lower profits and that's what I think it will continue doing.
Regardless, China still needs PLS's Lithium, it just wants it cheap.
PLS is also increasing it's output of spod and will be creating finished (or near) product. This product can and likely will be sold into the US and Eu markets as China already has this aspect covered.
I'm leaning more to respecting PLS and its strategy.
