Danube, agree.
Who is the commodity boom hurting? China
Who is currently buying up mines in cash poor, developing countries? China
Who will have the last laugh? China
China's buying huge reserves of all sorts of commodities - Iron Ore in Mongolia as an example. We've screwed them on price. You think they'll forget? Rio Tinto fraud case....
What will we do post-commodity boom? Let's hope somebody has a vision, neither of the two political parties seem to.
Agriculture will always be in supply and hopefully we can still invest in those sort of 'backward' industries. A bit more investment in alternative energy also wouldn't go astray.
