jibby, thanks very much for the headsup on that very interesting article.
I ploughed through it and my main takeaway is that the pockmark conditions for the Shell and Total discoveries in namibia near the south africa border are duplicated over the border in the south african portion of the Orange Basin.
If that is the case, things auger well for the holders of blocks on the south african side.
Unfortunately, the corrupt, stupid and incompetent ANC has stalled the drilling process there, so they are far behind namibia.
Maybe things will change after the election, but don't count on it.
