He'd probably know of it if he's been keeping up to date with the US ophthalmology news, as it's definitely making plenty of noise over there. Canaloplasty isn't in Australia yet though, probably won't be a for a few more years. People like to talk about how bad the US healthcare system is, but really the quality of healthcare in the US is unmatched anywhere else. Other countries tend to follow them several years later, if they even do!
