At current spot prices, companies like AbraSilver would achieve project payback in under 18 months! And I dare say, that will be the case for a number of projects into the future if we get silver $50. So, that argument is irrelevant in the larger scheme of things unless the project has a very short project life.
Now SS1's project is going to cost a squillion to develop but they may luck in because if we get confirmation of a $30 breakout in silver, then they will be going to the market for future capex's at higher share prices. SS1 has lucked in on the timing of their float with silver attempting to break out. They need to start drilling like there is no tomorrow to maintain interest in their project.
