in the past I have reported a couple of items to asic.. remember timercorp? director selling on the friday before a monday profit downgrade. i got a nice letter from asic sying "no case to answer"

on another occassion i reported predatory activity. i know of a handful of people who have lost a combined 9 million on this delightful saga. I have another letter here saying " asic have decided not to pursue investigations" read toothless tiger.

im looking forward to the day it all comes out and everyone asks, how come asic didnt know?

pigs at the trough and our regulators turn a blind eye. I suppose it could be worse... we could have our savings on Wall Street with the Fed looking after our interests....shudder
