I simply cannot grasp how people cannot just let the Simple words "breath of life" do the talking, it's childlike language and means EXACTLY what it says. With breath Obviously comes oxygen, which sustains life.
Not to mention, let Gen 2:7 do the talking, man gets the breath of life and is then defined as a living soul = living being. He is deemed as a living soul and did NOT get a soul after getting the breath of live.
Actions performed from and within the man (the package), can then be referred to as the soul or spirit of him.
It's so so simple, right at the beginning of the Book.
