I read it as a bit of a spin doctor article...like i do understand that a poor country who many within feel they have been totally ripped off by the French colonialists etc etc, wants self determination and emancipation etc, and wants to extract more cash out of one of the few large industries in the country, for the good of the country etc.

However, My biggest gripe is that our Goulamina is not a new project under the new mining code - but rather falls under the previous code...I could go on, but I'd rather 'move on' - that is remember the lessons learned and implement them.

Anyhow, I am very glad we are selling the rest to GF and completely out of Mali - clad that my cash will soon be free so to speak (Regardless of current valuations by various people and outfits).
