US Senate bans Russian U Imports, page-16

It has been reported on Bloomberg that Tenex, the major supplier of Russian EUP, has issued a Force Majeure notice to all the major utilities that all US signed uranium supply contracts will be cancelled unless the nuclear fuel buyer can provide a DOE energy waiver within 60 days.

This is huge and was not unexpected, it is essentially a Russian export ban and what they are saying is, show us you can get a waiver from the DOE within 60 days, or your contract is cancelled. The US utilities for security purposes now have no choice and have to source their supply elsewhere from now.

I don't think the market has woken up to the implications yet!
