"
“Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise"
Some thoughts, whatcha reckon?
Have a think on that one, as after Jesus rose, he said to the woman, do not touch me as I have
NOT YET ascended to the Father.
Today in paradise you say,....................Jesus it would seem, is not agreeing with you, in the context that you suggest.
So lets provide a verse which probably answers Jesus's message.
Eph 2:6 -
and raisedusup together, and madeussit together in the heavenlyplacesin Christ Jesus,
Would that not be putting us spiritually in paradise?Clearly the guy on the cross next to Jesus, accepted Jesus there and then, so the likes of the above, it would seem answers Jesus's message.
We see in Rev, many under the alter, asking God how long...............I don't feel that they are literally there or literally asking anything, they are simply on the register, recorded in the Book of life.
We see in the OT, the blood of Able crying out from the grave, naturally there is no literal crying out there, as per Rev I would suggest.
Otherwise, what's the point of them having to wait under the alter, until the last day, that would make an exiting heavenly adventure EH
