As far as I can tell, the directors wanted to hang off until the assay results were back. In my opinion Mr Gifford will never ever work in the industry again if the asx announcement ,instigated by himself turns out to be something that is worthless. His name will be mud and the directors of RRS will never be able raise their faces in public ever again.

On the other hand, Why would this fellow put up his hand and use the word "significant" if it was a crock?

Then again we had BreeX did we not?

It is hard to balance the story with only tid bits of info but I am heavily leaning towards a Major discovery.

I think that we all need to dig out background Info on Mr Gifford, this will be the lynch pin in the whole exercise.
