''Looks like they have a leader that they are happy to back''
they are (atm) - and that tells us a hell of a lot about what they've got to choose from
'Would you care to comment on his budget reply address and its contents that set out an alternative strategy for the future.'
To me - an opposition leaders reply (no matter what party) is a useless and unnecessary event in the way of things ------------ why?
because whilst the government presenting a budget gives us performance (assuming it comes with substantiation) and it comes with a list of actions which should be - AND can be monitored in the near future often - like if they say from July 1 - this payment will rise - then, it's easy - wait until July 1 and see it happen - or not
however, an opposition reply that brings 'this is what I will do if elected' - comes out of the same bullshit barrel that election campaign promises come from - the barrel of unbelievability
in short - it's bullshit and should be taken at best with a grain of salt - but, should in reality be just regarded as something to say that's out of the bs barrel and of no value
I WOULD look to what both parties have DONE in the past -------- that's a different kettle of fish.
in the end - I think that to suggest that any opposition leader reply is as you put it -
an alternative strategy for the future.'
pffffffffffffffffffffft
