Like myself and other posters have said before, if I were conducting a buyback I'd be trying my darndest to accumulate and NOT to increase the price. I'm not saying this is what's occurring but I'm hoping they are accumulating at these prices.
mr3t: "you can't secret squirrel a SBB. They have to keep makret informed daily of purchases"
You are saying after each trading day they have to announce any shares bought back on that day? I'm not saying this isn't the case but I'm interested to know if you're certain about this and how you know. Sorry to doubt but a lot of information posted on forums are incorrect.
Does anyone else know if this is the case please?
Re: postponing buyback until after marampa, like I've said, wouldn't that be at greatly inflated prices?
They have a year to buy back and it's only been a few days. As long as they buy back as much as possible before (if) the price jumps IMO this would be the best case scenario.
People have to ask themselves - do they want the company to try and buy back at cheap prices or push the price up and buy back at expensive prices? Remember, it's all of our money they are using.
