and we meet once again.... g'day slick.... Oh man.. .you are so out of touch on your charts in my opinion it's no joke.

I am a long term shareholder of BHP for over 24 yrs but, also a active trader there for years..... I use mostly GAPS and have done so well thru the years... as BHP is one of the best arounder GAPER filler to play.....

Now.... going by your old copy paste text books....... yes, not all gaps get filled... but, mostly do...... it might take days/weeks/months even years but mostly DO GET FILLED.... trust me ..... and yes... off course we are talking DAILY/WEEKLY and MONTHLY charts here boy....

With mickey mouse stocks like IVZ or even EXR for a example, 'its much easier to "delay effect" due to easy manipulation on exchange....

For the subject here - IVZ: the first gap for example.... it will get easily filled after a fundamental announcement that markets and investors are waiting for... it will blown pass it... if not filling the second gap perhaps....... boy you are out of touch......

Look, I have never been at HC for hearts, likes, new bulbs or sympathy. I like here for almost 20 years for a laugh, chat, some maybe insight at times....very rare..... or a good data mining on what the majority of the sheep are thinking ....so I can put my algos against the majority and make a living..... but, I do respect most opinions here....


As I said.... mickey mouse stocks..... can and are manipulated.... the GAPS get delayed or at times kicked the can down the road...... but most.... not always.....most will close.... for sure.

Text book talk does nothing much to me...... as everything.... everything evolves in life. Technicals evolves too.... it's like you try to tell me about "Blue Chips" LOL blue chips does not exists anymore for more than 10 years now...... 'its long go the old old times and ways...... we are more modern than that.... we've got Algos, Python, AI, shorting.... that makes the game change from OLD text books.....

Still old text books are great..... I love economic history and macros....... but, you get to adjust your techos mate.... especially on trading.... Look CXO or SYR..... you would never ever be able to make so much good $$$ if it was not for shorting.... a amazing and wonderful discovery for some.....

Now....since you came in to chat.... let's chat CBA, ANZ, WBC, NAB..... the "so called BIG 4" I trade them as well... on GAPS..... and they get filled..... tell me more about your GAPS theory as I also am open to learn always.......
