In order for an overseas project to be successful a company needs the Govt Authorities on side as well as the local Communities. Lindian is doing a great job on both fronts with its Kangankunde Project.
"Lindian Resources is today paying compensation to members of the community whose land will be used to develop the Kangankunde Rare Earths Project in Balaka.
Members of the community are receiving different amounts of money through local banks in accordance with the assessment that was conducted by officials of the Ministry of Lands who are also available at the function together with the Area's traditional leaders."
