Coal plants require 24/7/365 maintenance and operation crews otherwise they wouldn't be able to operate at all. lf a coal plant used the solar panel maintenance system it might run for a couple of weeks.
Coal plants also require an entire 24/7/365 global industry to supply their fuel .

The sun, the wind and the rain turn up by themselves. No massive fuel supply industry required.

Landfill . Do you mean those massive open cut holes for coal that take billions of dollars and decades to clean up ?

The solar wind and battery industries have introduced recycling at the front end . They have identified the issue and are dealing with it now. Not kicking the can down the road for others to clean up.
