Explains a few things on greater Mangaroon gold targets, like:
lack of any multi-element soil maps to date
lack of any rock chips to datethe similar base metal signature of so many of the workings/prospects around Mangaroon
lack of any actual exploration drilling to date (and drilling now delayed how long?)
"Detailed mapping and surface sampling is ongoing at Tiger and other prospects. Planning is underway for EM geophysical surveys to assist with target generation and definition"... at least this go slow will stretch out the war chest.
Does not explain a few things, like:
the bismuth and multi-element indicating epithermal mineralisation (which form in same event as VMS, but isn't VMS)
similar 'stacked' or splay NW to WNW striking mineralised structures throughout Mangaroon with similar base metal +/- Au signatures (eg Lead Mine, Popeye)
Why some mineralised structures/gossans in metaseds cum volcanics means VMS instead of simply more epithermal?
Management are nothing if not flexible with changing the narrative to move with the times... gold is old hat, Cu VMS is all the rage now apparently (and they form in camps!!!)
