the dream was to make first oil, drill more targets from cashflow, say goodbye to dilution and hello to dividends over time.
this was my long term plan (hoped and wishes it seems now) when we discovered dorado.
unfortunately, fossil fuels are taking more of a beating in the social conscience, we have a banker in charge now, and the timeframe of that dream is now another decade from today it would appear... some pretty big hurdles to staying invested.
and i don't think that $1 prediction stacks up much in todays world, that AC comment must be nearly 7-8 years old now, it was a different time with lower SOI.
i've been on the CVN journey for nearly 2 decades, but i can see the appeal of people wanting to cash out now, and i think anything over 40c will tick most people's minimum to bail... though i do hope the operator prioritises the basin and shortens that timeframe somewhat.
