I don't think so. More like a opportunity to average down and take a bigger position in a CR. Well at least we know what M & G did. Too cap the SP around the dollar was not to much of a concern, to dump after the CRL was not OK. SI new that GG was buying then to support the company , more than anyone could say for M & G. Basic dump, force a credit squeeze that would demand a CR and buy back in at perhaps as low as 20 cents.
No wonder SI maintained control of the CR. M & Gs plan to take a very large holding for no outlay failed. According to ET , insto’s no longer trust SI. Wouldn't be surprised if ET had some inside knowledge to M & G. Perhaps even court out playing the same game.
