The index tracking funds who had to buy in when AVZ went in to the ASX 200 have been locked in for two years now have to unwind that stock - add to that the millions of retail shares that have been offered up for sale here and on the other stock forums and its a pretty safe assumption that have have been sold at a fraction of the last traded price. IE "cheap" !
100 million shorts with 3.5billion shares on issue was always a diversion to deflect away from managements shortcoming here on this forum- The mythical short burn was always just that a myth !
