How many people are required to undertake a test like this? I don't think it is even 1 person fulltime working for 1 week or weeks after weeks. How much does such testing cost? then if we calculate the manhours how does it work out?

Research is generally done by one person and supervised by one man in universities and a report prepared by the researcher.

Are you trying to say this work required certain number of employs? Most of the researches, resulting inventions and discoveries are done by single persons. Sorry we may need to agree to disagree.
