I read the announcement a little differently. The statement
"He said that a rights issue for a similar amount of money"
can be interpreted as the same amount of money being raised, but at a higher price.
I read the sp slump today as profit takers getting out ready to buy back in after the spp.

I cannot agree with your comments on bot trading. With no disrespect to you, a lot of HC posters use this an excuse for sp falls and conspiracy theories and all sorts of other reasons on why their favorite stocks is not doing well.
