European markets were all down overnight.
The FTSE fell a modest 7 points (.092%), the DAX fell42 points (.22%) and the CAC fell 54 points (.66%).
In the US, markets were mixed but flat.
The DOW rose 66 points (.17%), the NBI fell 15 points (.36%), the NASDAQ Composite rose 37 Points (.22%) and the Russell small cap index fell 4 points (.200%). The NASDAQ Composite hit a record high.
Latest figures from the US showed that interest rates on servicing national debt has climbed to be a bigger cost than defence - two years ago interest costs was the seventh largest cost.
US Treasury bond yield is down to 4.415%.
Oil prices are slightly down - Brent crude sits at US$82.89 per barrel.
Gold price sits at US$2,421 per oz.
BITCOIN price is currently at US$69,738.
