If Telstra could deliver 5g everywhere in aus they would have to spend a lot of money, then share that asset to their competitors. Wont happen.
That is why Telstra now resell Starlink so that will be how regional Aus connect. great speed but Telstra make little on that transaction (think similar to an I Phone sale so less than 5% but they do add on Pro Srevcies charge to businesses to deliver/ coordinate) but have zero investment cost. Net win for Telstra as selling NBN is painful to everyone involved as multiple contractors are required to deliver.
