check this article out for seasonal variations in POG and long term trends, as there is a discrepancy between POG and gold stocks that can be expected to close, hopefully on the upside.

For this reason I tend to fret less about the finer points of the underlying valuations. No offence intended by my comment about the 'problem' as I never intend to make personal remarks. Discussion of ideas should be robust. However I may have been unintentionally expressing irritation due to some entirely unrelated posts involving downrampers. Sorry about that. ;-)
