re: Ann: Appendix 4D, Half Year Report and Ac... I think everyone is missing the point. The half year was from 1st April until 30th Sept. The price of copper averaged less than US$3.20/lb over this 6 month period, down as low as US$2.75/lb.
When you consider that when compared to last year for the same period the Copper price was 10% to 15% lower, but the AUD$ was also 10% lower.
The copper price has only increased to US$3.60 to US$3.80 since the end of that report.
Without the care and maintenance charges in the future it should produce a much better result.
