Is It Only Men Who Commit DV?

    No it's not, but more and more the whole debate about family violence alleges men are the perpetrators. Women who commit DV are hardly ever mentioned, but if they are there is usually an excuse attached.

    Yesterday in The Age there was a headline.. "Why do men kill their children"?, yet no mention of the many women who commit this atrocious crime.

    For context a mother killed her three kids last year but blames it on a refuge that didn't attend her needs. Did this make headlines and did the sporting bodies have a minutes silence for children killed by mum?

    I pity young men who enter a marriage with high hopes only to find that if the relationship breaks down it's them who will pay the price
    and women these days usually go the DVO route as part of their strategy to deny men access to their children and to extract financial benefits. Men are reminded of this every day at sporting events so don't be surprised when you reach 35 years and you can't sucker a guy into giving you a child. Why would any man bother anymore........................
