The laws exist to maintain reasonable behavior. Lots of people push boundaries every day but Trump got in a large taxpayer funded bullet proof limo and drove over the boundary, built a series of Trump towers on the other side, had a bunch of his family and mates over to run the illegal operation, employed a bunch of illegal immigrants to provide cheap labour and then stood there clearly on the wrong side whilst giving the middle finger to both law enforcement and the every day person whilst chanting "i'm exempt form the rules".
I don't think what is happening to Trump is in any way concerning to most people. He was given so much rope which no other person would or has been given. His behavior has been so extreme that if he isn't prosecuted for it then it will be a race to the bottom from here. The worst of the worse will seek out political office and use his behavior as an excuse for what is acceptable. I mean proper corrupt scum will become the mainstream, not just the regular incompetents that we are all used to.
It needs to stop here or we are all in for a world of pain.
