The aim of Cypatch is to close wounds quickly to avoid complications due to infection. The initial results of the trial are stunning - 85% wound healing of treatment group compared to 50% of control group. In DFU limb amputations are common due to the non healing nature of the wounds. Some lucky patients probably got to keep their foot thanks to Cypatch.
