I mean there is no reason to speculate its clear as day, if a reasonable price was used it would have made the project look even worse and in bigly negative npv territory... Consider mgmt want to put something out that looks ok to the average punter so they still seem employable.
and this is only a PFS with juiced to the gills cost assumptions ... reality would be much much worse imo but lets just forget about that.
this project aint gunna get funded dawg.
