    pakkham,

Whilst Silver marches to the beat of Gold's drum, it will eventually do it on a ratio that drives its % gain at a far greater pace.

Gold first, Silver second and Stock prices go third.

It's not healthy for the PM's to Explode Up in price as it can do irreparable harm to the players in the market................... give and take on an upward trend is the best way forward for all concerned.

It's a case of "Monkey See Monkey Do" when it comes to past behaviour in Silver and Gold.

However, Industrial Demand and the likely move from London and Chicago/New York to China (Shanghai) for daily reference to PM Pricing, means that the AngloAmerican manipulation will move to Chinese come BRICS manipulation.

I'm sure there will be manipulation but when PM's adjust they do it quite quickly.

It's an exciting time in history to be in PM's.

PS .............. Central Banks have been buying Gold for some time now and they have been doing it for a very good reason.................. to save their sorry arses.

They also implemented Basel III for a very good reason.

Central Banks will firstly allow the market to move the price up and secondly, they will revalue their Gold Holdings and revalue them up quite substantially............... the ultimate result will be "Financially Sound Central Banks" ..................... please don't laugh and ruin the fairytale

*** Under Basel III, allocated gold (i.e. gold that is physically stored, traceable, and allocated to an owner) is held on par with cash. It's considered a liquid, zero risk asset that counts towards a bank's allocation. Unallocated gold, on the other hand, is now classified as a risky asset.12 Mar 2024
