It could be as simple as 1) Andrew Liveris retreating from some of his many his Board responsibilities to spend some time in quasi retirement (lives in Sydney) and devoting more time on his other numerous investments knowing Nick is there to keep his eye on their not insignificant shereholding, and after all he is now a consultant so is still privy to high level decisions, 2) Nick lives in Rose Bay Sydney (Andrew recently bought into Bellevue Hills for $25m) so has probably worked remotely for NVX from NY originally and then from RB more recently so ultimately you’d expect the CFO to be domiciled in headquarters and 3) Nick has been in the heart of NVX since dot 1 so is more than capable of fulfilling a Director’s role for both Andrew and himself and won’t have to devote himself to a US domiciled co. As a CFO.
makes a lot of sense to me and on all probalities is a positive move all round.
