So the truth of this is a bit hard to figure out frankly, except to say that the Star is in deep trouble.There are vulture's circling who sense a bargain and they'd like to buy it.And there's all sorts of people involved.
Similar tactics to the Crown TO - were Blackstone denied any interest in Crown if you look threw the Crown thread .

(News from 2021) Blackstone is the real godfather here. It not only bought out Crown, it will also devour Star into its ambit.
