In my experience the returning of results has never or rarely been on time, aware that the rock samples went to the lab on the 16th, I have no idea how long it takes for a lab to come to their conclusions neither do I know what backlog they have & how possible it is to push other orders aside to prioritise at short notice..
I would announce the expediting of results if I wanted to build expectation & excitement into a CR. I don't know how you can know if the results would be good or bad without proper analysis. There usually are extra fee's for priority requests but I don't know how these labs operate. I hope my suspicion is wrong but there are too many red flags for me to be confident in the short term.
