It wasn't my house & the NBN paid the $90K not the homeowner.
That was the reason why the LNP stopped FTTP for every connection as the total cost would have been astronomical.
The decision for the NBN to pay for FTTN was the right decision, if individual users wanted a faster connection they should pay to upgrade to FTTP. The vast majority of people don't need 100 mbps+ connections.
