The Reality - Blackouts will occur in the red boxes if we are 100% solar, wind and hydro. If there are any fossil fuel deniers out there then take a quick look at the reality below. This is a live snapshot of the grid power in NSW for the past 48 hours. No matter how much solar or wind you add in the red box areas you will never be able to replace the base load power. While you may tout battery power, the amount of batteries you need to provide base load power is not in any way feasible. Because you cannot recharge the batteries in the intervals between when they are needed so you need to have something else. Oh and if you say SA can do it with their Telsa battery, the reality is they don't as
